refund policy

effective: may 2026

this refund policy applies to the talyq founding member tier. it will be updated when additional paid tiers launch.


founding member tier — $30 one-time payment

founding seat purchases are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the original payment date, for any reason, no questions asked.

after 7 days, founding seat purchases are non-refundable.


how to request a refund

email hello@talyq.com with:

  • subject line: “refund request”
  • the email address used at checkout
  • your order number, if available

eligible refunds will be processed within 5 business days. refunds are issued to the original payment method via lemon squeezy.


license revocation upon refund

when a refund is issued, your founding seat license key will be deactivated. you will lose access to paid features tied to that license.

your log data, which lives on your own device in v1, remains yours. it is not deleted automatically when a refund is processed. you can continue to use the free tier with your existing data, or delete it from settings at any time.


chargebacks

if you have a payment issue, email hello@talyq.com first. most issues can be resolved within 48 hours.

filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us may result in immediate and permanent termination of your account, deactivation of your license key, and a ban from future purchases.


merchant of record

payments are processed by lemon squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for talyq. lemon squeezy handles tax collection, vat, and refund processing on talyq’s behalf.
